Fashion Savvy yet resourceful, Talisa Lavarry has proven herself to be passionate about the development of image for people, places and things both inside and out.
Lifestyle and Image Consultant Talisa Lavarry lives and works in her passion from day to day determined to change lives with her sincere spirit and natural knack for taking little and making much.
Talisa began her journey in January 2000 when deciding to pursue a Bachelors of Science Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing at the University of Louisiana in Monroe.
Days after graduating from college Talisa became a buyer for multiple units of Hollywood Casinos within their Gift shops and Spas. This position afforded Talisa the opportunity to travel all over the U.S. and Canada while learning the ins and outs of the Fashion and Lifestyle Industries.
Talisa later moved to Dallas Texas and accepted a position as a Wedding accessories buyer for Michael’s Arts and Crafts. While developing more knowledge about product development and purchasing Talisa began to form her own PR and Image Concierge which is known today as Talisa Lavarry Lifestyle and Image Consulting (TLLIC). Talisa was determined to develop this business as she began to realize how broad her passions were and how many different areas of the fashion, lifestyle and marketing industry were appealing to her.
Talisa is on a personal quest to offer Lifestyle and Fashion services to any and everybody that can appreciate it. While she has wonderful taste she is able to be of benefit to many who would never believe that they could afford her companies services. “So many friends told me throughout the years that I changed their lives with very simple fashion tips and tricks. My gift is taking little and making much….creating beauty that most never knew was there. I want to offer everybody a piece of fashion. When we look good, we feel good and who so ever wants and seeks a polished look deserves it, “says Lavarry.
Talisa not only manages and operates her business she is the founder and operator of Recessionista’s Closet, an annual city-wide clothing swap and recycled fashion expo that benefits the community, clothing resellers and the homeless population. She is the Author of Random Blessings “A Fashion Addict’s Path to Compassion”, a Public speaker and Self-esteem enthusiast for Teen girls and Women, a Columnist and PR rep for The North Dallas Gazette and an Industry expert on Everydayexperiences.com.
Talisa currently lives in Irving Texas where she enjoys cooking and entertaining friends.
