Hi Marc,

I love the spaghetti theory.

And, yes, I even remember long before BETAMAX.

As you are one of the few Mega Blowhards on this site, you have a certain obligation to share what you find valuable with the masses.

Maybe I have been at my 'puter too long, but are you saying when I bookmark a page it's shared with my friends. So am I right in understanding when I sign up with a bookmarking site, I also need to add my friends to that site?

BTW... I didn't actually set out to become a MBHard, the truth is I was born talking, and then wanted to organize all the kids into their respective groups before I started school :-))

How are you enjoying your holidays Marc?

The count down is on here in Australia, and I have posted my one burning imperative for 2009 in a discussion 'To engrave, or not to engrave, that will be the outcome:"

The discussion includes an invitation to publicly post your one burning ambition for 2009.

Would love to hear from you. Happy new year Marc

Bring out the marching band, she's done it *canned applause* streamers and balloons billowing into the air, champagne corks popping.... THE GIRL HAS MADE HER FIRST SUBSCRIPTION ON HER BRAND NEW GOOGLE READER.

Take to the podium in her Oscar de La Gown, misty eyed she accepts the award for 'Getting with the Google Readers' she begins to thank her mom, her dad, and not forgetting God, but most of all she says thank you to Marc Wolfsfeld, for without him she would not be the Google Reader Addict she is today. **** applause erupts as she waves and blows a kiss to Marc across the pages on SpeakerSite ******

Do you have multiple personalities, Part Deux

I blogged previously about having multiple personalities on the Internet. The post dealt with having profiles on multiple social networking sites. I explained my "Spaghetti Theory".

Part Deux has to do with having more that one email address. Most of us are inundated with spam as well as legitimate emails that we haven't a clue who the sender is. Our email addresses seem to be passed around and we have little or no control over who emails us.

I've been online since 1980 when I had a com… Continue

Oops - I bought my UltraMini PC to soon...

It is not very often that I am an early adopter of technology. I like thing to simmer and mature a bit before I jump in.

I broke my own rule a while ago when I learned of the Asus EEE UMPC - this machine is about 2 Lbs, with a very small footprint.

I spend my days working with small businesses on their computers and their computer problems. I never know what is going to come up on any given day, and some days, nothing comes up. I thought it would be cool to have a computer that I could keep in… Continue

Do You have Multiple Personalities?

How many social websites are you on in addition to www.speakersite.com?

One, Three, Five? More? Lots More?

I have what I am calling my "Spaghetti Theory" of creating an Internet Presence.

Some may not be familiar with the term "Spaghetti Theory" so I will take a moment to explain:

To check for doneness of spaghetti, you throw some against the wall, and if it sticks, it is done. The same

Costco Rules - Check out these bargins

I LOVE COSTCO.........

I mean I LOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEE to shop at Costco.

I do almost all my family shopping at Costco. I go every Sunday and get what I need for the week. I always spend a few minutes in the Technology section - just to see what they have to offer.

Today I decided to share what I find each week with my friends on SpeakerSite.com.

Three things jumped out at me today.

1. Monitors keep getting cheaper - I bought a 19" LCD AOC monitor for $99.99
2. Flash drives and memory sti… Continue
