My Bio:
Les Hatton was a victim of childhood abuse who discovered the keys not only to survival but freedom and on into celebration.

Les was abused sexually, physically and mentally by various relatives and spent time in both children's homes and foster care. As many abuse survivors know the counselling and help made available to him was non existent. Surviving did not mean healing and a
cycle of anger followed by addictive behaviour with alcohol, drugs and gambling clouded the next twenty years of his life.

In his late twenty's Les made many discoveries about the nature of abuse, the life altering effects it has and how to break the destructive cycle in his own life.

As a youth Pastor Les found himself able to share these healing secrets with hundreds of young people, bring healing and restoration.

Originally from the UK he has worked internationally with thousands of people recovering form the effects of abuse, leading people on a journey of discovery and freedom, though speaking, workshops and retreats

He has founded two charities offering practical advice, counseling and residential rehabilitation centers working with abuse survivors, one specifically for young men.

Les, welcome to SpeakerSite. I'm glad you're here. I appreciate your story.

After only 40 days, we have 1,400+ members. That's good for all of us. The more speakers we have, the more event planners we’ll attract – the more opportunities for connecting more speakers with more audiences.

So, I’m wondering: How did you hear about SpeakerSite? Please send me a message.

Anyway, it’s good for you — and all of us — if your profile is great and if you help spread the word. Here are links to two pages that can help:

1. How to Make the Most of Your SpeakerSite Profile.

2. How to Spread the Word About SpeakerSite.

Feel free to join (or start) Groups -- or put any question in the Forum area. (Of course, make sure your message is appropriate for the particular Forum discussion you‘re visiting.) And feel free to contact me or Rob Emrich. We are here for you.

May 2009 bring you only happiness!

Thanks!
