Arts/Culture/Music/Dance/Theatre, Attitude, Empowerment, Gender Issues, Women in Society
My Bio:
Primarily a visual artist also performance in comedy. Previous professional experience as a training and placement officer for the government initiatives for unemployed people.
What I do best:
I inspire and motivate with anecdotal stories, I empower women by using a visual and interactive art work and by giving them "strategies" for dealing with the difficulties of interacting with men. This is a comedic performance and is confronting, challenging and empowering.
Blog Day One of my search for gigs turned into day zero. I had an "anytime after the hour" appointment today and when I got there the cupboard was bare; people working two days before Christmas are not working per se.
Golden Rule Number One: Confirm all appointments by telephone before driving across the city.

Kate, welcome to SpeakerSite. I'm glad you're here.
After only four weeks, we have 1,000+ members. That's good for all of us. The more speakers we have, the more event planners we’ll attract – the more opportunities for connecting more speakers with more audiences.
So, I’m wondering: How did you hear about SpeakerSite? Who told you? Where did you first learn of SpeakerSite? Please send me a message — and, if you like, invite me to be your friend!
Anyway, it’s good for you — and all of us — if your profile is great and if you help spread the word. Here are links to two pages that can help:

On the home page of SpeakerSite is a forum inviting members to PUBLICLY DECLARE their one burning goal for 2009.
The post is called 'To engrave, or not to engrave, that will be the outcome'
Members have braved up and engraved their intention with others as a witness.
Emerging Speakers in the Forum would appreciate input from a Professional Woman with your credentials and experience.
We would love to hear your ONE burning goal for 2009 on 'To engrave, or not to engrave, that will be the outcome"
I have just joined SpeakerSite and see that we have a common interest in Gender Issues. I look forward to connecting with you. Thanks, Danny
