You lived in Manly for two years????? Well I understand why you miss it.

I was born in the UK , in Yorkshire and immigrated with my family when I was eight years of age. I moved to Manly after a number of tragic events ...it was the closest I could get to 'moving overseas', without moving away from my family.

You would know what I mean when I call it moving overseas, as the harbor divide is what makes this area so beautiful. It's like another place, compared to the rest of Sydney.

I was here during the Rugby World Cup ...the place went off like the harbor bridge on New Years Eve. It was so exciting.

Yep... to those who live here, and those who visit ...Manly is very special.

Let me know when you visit again, it would be great to connect.

BTW why don't you stop by the forum on the home page called 'to engrave or not to engrave, that will be the outcome' and join others who have carved out their one intention for 2009. Maybe yours is to plan another visit to Manly :-))

Lovely connecting with you Julius (great name)

Hello Julius,

Welcome to this great new site. I occasionally speak in the UK and have a close friend who owns a business (much like mine) that has the contract to provide living history presentations at the Royal Palaces.

Best wishes,

Dick

Julius, welcome to SpeakerSite. I'm glad you're here.

I also received your message about the link to your site. I will follow-up with Rob today. I believe -- though we thought that that link list would be up weeks ago -- Rob is still working on it. He and I will push that along quickly. Thank you for the reminder. Please forgive me. We very much appreciate your promotion of SpeakerSite.

After only six weeks, we have 1,700+ members. That's good for all of us. The more speakers we have, the more event planners we’ll attract – the more opportunities for connecting more speakers with more audiences.

Anyway, it’s good for you — and all of us — if your profile is great and if you help spread the word. Here are links to two pages that can help:

1. How to Make the Most of Your SpeakerSite Profile.

2. How to Spread the Word About SpeakerSite.

Also, you might need to finetune how much email you get from SpeakerSite. It takes a little work. Here is some advice on the issue.

Feel free to join (or start) Groups -- or put any question in the Forum area. (Of course, make sure your message is appropriate for the particular Forum discussion you‘re visiting.) And feel free to contact me or Rob Emrich. As the co-founders of SpeakerSite, we are here for you.

May 2009 bring you only happiness!

Thanks!
