Hi Elaine - sorry I've not replied to your message sooner - it's been very busy here for the last few weeks so I've simply not had time to keep up with Speakersite. Coffee would be lovely. Would you like to suggest some dates (probably best by email)? Talking of coffee, incidentally, I'm now an old hand on Heather Stott's show, thanks to your introduction!

Best wishes
Christine

Greetings from Sydney, Australia Elaine, and welcome.

I am stopping by to invite you to connect, I would be delighted to receive a friend request from you.

The UK contingent is very active, in fact I was born in Yorkshire, so my affinity with the UK is historical.

You may find 'The Leadership & Mentor Think Tank' of value Elaine, it's a network of influencers who are also success minded.

Kindest regards, Christine

Profile Information

I am a:
Speaker
I speak about:
Family, Health, Inspirational, Mental Health, Motivation, Parenting, Stress, Women's Health
My Bio:
After the birth of my much-wanted son I was horrified to find my dream became a nightmare as I developed puerperal psychosis, the most severe form of postnatal depression. Once I recovered I shared my journey with the publication of my book, 'Eyes without Sparkle - a journey through postnatal illness'. I wanted to offer hope to future sufferers and also to demonstrate to healthcare professionals that their actions can profoundly affect a patient's recovery. Over the last four years I have spoken to a wide range of audiences, including in Australia and to the European Parliament, and also learnt a great deal of clinical research, development and good practice. Those also affected by the illness have shared their stories with me enabling me to develop considerable knowledge in this field, which I am delighted to cascade to others.
What I do best:
* Inspiring other sufferers and their families that postnatal illness does get better and giving practical and empathic suggestions of how to make recovery easier and more effective.
* Advising and inspiring healthcare professionals in the principles of care for sufferers and the types of services and suggestions for treatment which really matters to the families in their care.
I charge a fee of:
$501-$1500
Some notes on how I charge for my services:
Depends on
* distance from home
* budget of event
* event cause, e.g. charity
* other negotiating aspects, e.g. referrals
