- Dr Ana Garcia has a Doctoral Degree in Metaphysical Sciences specializing in Transpersonal Counselling (integration of higher consciousness in the counseling process) and a Masters degree in Education and Languages. She is a Coach U CTP graduated Life and Business Coach and has a management qualification with the British Institute of Management.
Dr Ana is a Reiki Master and a Spiritual Mentor. She has studied the Metamorphic Technique Universal Principles with its founder, Gaston St. Pierre and holds qualifications in Character Analysis and Graphology with the British School of Yoga and Nutrition with the School of Natural Health Sciences (UK).
In 2009, Dr Ana gained her Toastmasters Advanced Communicator Silver (ACS) and her Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB) Awards. She is the President of Peninsula and Pinelands Toastmasters Clubs in Cape Town and Area Governor for Area D3 (Cape Town) in District 74 (Africa). Among her achievements feature Toastmaster of the Year 2008-2009 for Area D (Western Cape and Namibia), Best Speaker (Taverners Club May’2008 and Pinelands Club January’2009) and Best Evaluator (Peninsula Club January’2009 and Pinelands Club May’2009); International Prepared Contest winner at local level (March’2008); Gavel Award at Taverners Club (November’2007) for exceptional contribution; Leadership Excellence Award for the successful completion of the High Performance Leadership Program setting up a Mentoring Program in her Home Club. Dr Ana has also been officially appointed Club Coach for Pinelands TM Club.
Dr Ana’s main speaking subjects are: emotional energy, control dramas, metaphysics and coaching on personal development. Using her coaching and public speaking skills, Ana helps individuals find their strengths and communicate in a completely original and personal way, avoiding cliché and stereotyped performances.
Dr Ana is a freelance writer: she has regularly contributed to magazines such as Vibrations, Odyssey and Renaissance, and to several Ezines. Her Animal Strategy series have been published in the Renaissance magazine since 2006 to date and she was featured columnist in The Big Brown Box (www.thebigbrownbox.com) in August 2007. Sorry it took so long to get back to you but I was on a consulting engagement and then moving. Thanks so much for referring me to the SelfGrowth.com site. Maybe you are right - I don't really know! I didn't use to know anytyhing... anything that was important!
There were many years where I didn't know whether I was coming or going, or who I was. It took about 20 years of intense soul searching and changing countries twice, the second time to South Africa, far far away from home (my mum still doesn't understand why I needed to get so far away to make a mark in the world but the clan can be very clingy and axphysiating, even when they don't mean to be so). Only last year in August I felt that I couldn't work on my "shadow" any more to tap into more of my own energy but I wanted more energy (without stealing it from others, but from my own source) because I know that unless I keep renewing my energy source, I will grow old and implode! So the one thing that there was left to do was to "focus on the gift of my present time". So I did - and you will not believe how my heart chakra sprung right open! And since then, the huge love I feel for everyone simply pours out and it is so painful to contain within that I have to "give" something in order to stop it from hurting,and not metaphorically speaking but even physically speaking!
We have obviously connected from righ within so let's stay in touch because... who knows when we may find the synergy and get something done together!

Thank you for your genuine reply! If I may boldly share an insight with you, and if I'm wrong, please forgive me and correct me by all means. I have this feeling that you have always been a born giver, perhaps you were scared to reach out and understandably so, but always ready to give, while seeking for ways to break out of the fear in order to do what you are naturally gifted to do.
As far as your beautiful statement -- "hence my sharing so profusely without any worry about what I will ever get back!" -- wow Ana, that's the unconditional give from your heart. Bless you Ana for having the courage to acknowledge the root of your fear, to take it on, and today, to profusely share with all of us -- worry free -- with love -- most inspiring!
I too am open to suggestions, ideas, joint ventures ... While I purpose to perform at my best, wise enough to always surrender the rest for God's Hand to unleash His unexpected, anointed suddenlies all around me that is beyond human imagination!
