My Bio:
About Me:
Ms. Armstrong is a native of Auburn Hills, Michigan. She received her childhood education in the public schools of Pontiac and attended Laurinburg Industrial and Institutional College Preparatory School in Laurinburg, North Carolina. She is currently a student at the Maranatha Christian College & Theological Seminary, Inc. pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies.

Ms. Armstrong received her early Christian education at New Bethel Baptist Church in Pontiac, Michigan. She received her call into the Gospel ministry in 1998 and was licensed in August of 2005 under the leadership of Pastor Nathaniel R. Fuller with Ledge Rock Baptist Church Raleigh, North Carolina. She recently joined The Cup of Salvation Deliverance Church founded by Dr. Johnny Holloway. Ms. Armstrong currently serves the North Carolina Regional Area as Founder and CEO of Daughters without Dads, Inc. At Daughters without Dads, a holistic approach to the well-being of pre-teen, teen and young adult women is provided. By that, we mean the wellness and healing of the whole person. Minister Armstrong spearheads programs and services that address many of the issues concerning youth. She feels it is important that we use this approach because of the tendency of issues such as domestic violence, wealth management and self-esteem to become “cycles” that are repeated in life. The desired outcome for those who come through the program is that they are able to break the negative cycle(s) and be a source of positive influence to those around them. Minister Armstrong has served in several ministry concentrations to include but not limited to; Single’s Ministry President, Drama Ministry President, Drug & Alcohol Outreach, Amour Bearer to her First Lady Angela Fuller, as well as Christian Education

Ms. Armstrong has one child Miaya and considers that as her greatest accomplishment. Her mission is to teach the word of God with clarity under the anointing of the Holy Ghost that will draw others to Christ. Ms. Armstrong has been the recipient of several life chances and has decided to extend that same grace to other women and men. Her goal is to give back to the community by reducing the rate of recidivism one woman at a time. She desires to help women reach their destiny by helping them to realize that their past does not dictate their present and their prior mistakes do not make for a hopeless future.

Ms. Armstrong has authored many dramatic skits, plays and has modeled professionally for Montgomery Wards Department Store. Ms. Armstrong has appeared in an After-school Movie about teenage pregnancy. In addition she has been the spokesperson in radio commercials for Squirt and has been the radio guest on local radio stations in North Carolina. Ms. Armstrong is a trained professional actress who had trained youth in Drama Ministry in area local churches.

Ms. Armstrong has two unpublished novels in which she is looking for a publisher.

Doresa, welcome to SpeakerSite. I'm glad you are here.

The more members we have, the stronger the appeal we have for meeting planners. That's good for all. (Invite others to join by clicking here.)

A few notes:

1. If anyone leaves a message (like this one) on your "Comment Wall" and you don't think it will look great to a meeting planner who visits your page, just click on the tiny blue "x" at the right of that message. That will delete it for good.

2. Make sure your profile is as strong as it can be. Check out "Make the most of your SpeakerSite profile" for the best practices that appeal to meeting planners.

3. Perhaps you will enjoy the LITTLE GEMS forum discussion. And perhaps you'd be nice enough to put some advice in there for new speakers.

4. Feel free to establish a Group for your clients (or some other group of colleagues or friends). That way you can share and communicate with them most easily through SpeakerSite.

Again, welcome to SpeakerSite, the world's largest social network of public speakers.
