My Bio:

I grew up in the mountains in Virginia on a self-sufficient farm. I rode horses, milked the cows, slopped the pigs and got eggs from the chicken coop!

I got antsy and spent several years moving:

I have no desire to move anymore! I love North Carolina. I moved my husband and two children with me across the country to come here - peaceful and full of vibrant business at the same time. Plus, it's a great place to raise a family.

I love spending time with my family and friends. In my free time (infrequent), I like reading, writing, woodworking...and I am never without music. Can't play an instrument, but I love to listen!

As far as speaking is concerned, I speak about surviving abuse and smashing through the glass ceiling that we have carefully place over our own heads. Having been a survivor myself, I also interviewed women across the country about their experiences and how they found success in life. All of our experiences and ultimate success can be found in my upcoming book, Moving Past Our Past.

I also speak about Social Media Branding and Strategy as I am the founder and president of The BUZZ Builder, a resource and support for teaching speakers and authors how to drive traffic to their website and sell more by utilizing the power of social media.
