Dawn is the CEO, Founder of The Heart Link Network™, an innovative female networking and marketing company, which launched 100 locations in 27 states in its first 120 days. Dawn has taken the art of networking to the next level by creating a networking and marketing model that helps female entrepreneurs explode their businesses. Dawn is dedicated to linking women to wonderful resources, new ideas, products and services and especially the hearts of one another, because women linked are sure to create a better tomorrow.

Dawn is also co-founder of Inspiration is the Secret™, a soon to be released web based company that provides daily success, parenting and relationship inspirations that are “just a Dawn minute” long, to promote character and excellence in children and adults. But Dawn’s favorite accomplishment is the creation of the beloved CAPABLES™ Learning System, a plush parenting toy/tool touted by parenting experts, to revolutionize parenting around the world. Dawn plans to give the first 2000 toys and tools to military service families serving our country.

Dawn is President of DawnBillings.com, a training and executive coaching company, where she is a consultant to Executives and Organizations focusing on teamwork, communication skills, improving productivity and retaining top talent using her highly acclaimed Primary Colors Personality Test™ that was administered to over 50,000 people in 2007, of which she is the author.

Dawn has a passion for making a difference in the lives of women and children and travels nationally as a parenting and relationship expert and a highly sought after speaker and trainer who specializes in entitlement issues that are currently plaguing our society. Dawn has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, while her doctorate studies focused on Organizational Psychology and Personality.

Dawn has been a presenter for the legendary Love and Logic Institute, where she shared with teachers, administrators and counselors secrets on how to inspire children to live the greatness within them, and has written two books with its founder, Jim Fay. She is the author of over 15 books including Greatness and Children: Learn the Rules, Entitled to Fail, Endowed to Succeed: America’s Journey Back to Greatness, Choose to Be Great Workbook and her classic fable, The Perfect Heart, but Dawn is most proud of the fact that both of her sons Tony, 29 and Corbin 20, are awarding winning contributors to their communities and to the world.
What I do best:
“She´ll make you cry with laughter, she´ll make you pause with wonder, she´ll make you smile with reverence at previously unrealized appreciation for yourself.
Dawn speaks with the knowledge of the scholar that she is, and the heart of the woman who continues to forge her own path, inspiring others to do the same. A winning combination exemplified by her speaking and consulting ventures as well as her Capables Learning System, specifically designed for parents and children.
She is out to change the world of parenting. Make no mistake about it: she will. The question you need to ask yourself is: Do you want to be among those she changed the world with or those she changed the world for?"
Isabelle Monlouis, Founder of Stategica, People Centered, process focused, results driven training and consulting services

Rarely have I met anyone that has a message as timely and powerful as that of Dawn Billings. Dawn has an insight that is unique and a delivery that makes people want to transform their lives. She proves her point again and again..."“Greatness is Never an Accident."

6 Secrets to Dealing with Economic Stress

The Markets have gone MAD. Money Anxiety Disorder: That's what some are calling the latest American epidemic. While the market plunges, free-floating anxiety is rising. According to a survey in October by the American Psychological Association, 80 percent of us find the recent financial crisis a significant cause of stress—up from 66 percent last April—and women are bearing the brunt of the worry. Women are reporting greater concern over job stability, health problems, and financial concerns aff… Continue

Is there Hope for Success in this economy?

Have you ever asked yourself "Is there hope for success in this economy?" I certainly have. As I watch the faces of women I love tighten with stress as they wonder will they and their husbands keep their jobs, it seems that hope is being squeezed like orange juice, it just doesn't end up tasting sweet. Billions of dollars, nearing a trilion in fact, are being poured into the economy but who is getting the money and the relief? Do you know any one personally that is benefiting that is hurting?

I… Continue

5 Ways Women's Brains are different from Men's

Excerpted from a new book called Leadership and the Sexes written by Michael Gurian, co-founder of the Gurian
Institute which conducts brain-based research and provides education and training on gender issues and co-author
Barbara Annis, CEO of Barbara Annis & Associates, a company devoted to gender diversity research.

1. Women's brains are always "on."
There is more neural activity in the female brain at any given time than in the male brain.
This is probably why we as women are so much be… Continue

Networking Gap means less pay for Women by Fran Woods

Posted by Fran Wood October 15, 2008 8:15AM

In 2006, New Jersey women earned 78.3 cents for every dollar a man earned in comparable jobs. Today that number is down to 77 cents. Granted that's an improvement over the 72 cents it was the first time I wrote about this issue in 1978.

Still, a nickel strikes me as rather pitiful progress in 30 years.

Sen. Diane Allen (R-Burlington), who co-sponsored legislation to create the state Council on Gender Parity, has noted that part of the reason women's… Continue

7 Lies You Tell Yourself that Steal your Success

Most people long for success and feel frustrated because they don’t know what is keeping them from achieving it. Of course, no one’s life circumstances and environment are perfect. But there are some who appear to enjoy more success in all areas of their lives than others, so what makes the difference?

What makes the difference are the lies we tell ourselves that we think are true. What you think determines how you will react to situations in your… Continue

My my! It's been a while since I played here! You commented on my page when I was in the air heading to Texas. :D (It was a FUN time!) I'm exploring the site you gave me. I did check Canada, and there is not a location near me. (I'm 1 hour south of Calgary.) Also joined the community and will explore there. :)

Warmly,

Velma
