- I've been a self-employed business person most of my working life. After mustering out of the Air Force I started my career with a Fred Astaire dance studio in Boston, Massachusetts and was one of their top producing instructors / salesperson. I am graduate of Sales Training Institute (STI). STI is a leader in developing sales and marketing professionals. In fact, the Air Force used them to train their recruiters.
I've was a sales manager for Bookkeepers Business Services a national firm that provided bookkeeping services to small businesses. Owned a small business consulting firm in Phoenix, Arizona that provided, bookkeeping, marketing and financial planning services to small businesses. During this time one of my clients became disabled and another died in an auto accident. The tragedy of these events made me realize that most small business owners ignore necessity of planning their estates. So, I invested in a professional library that would rival most law firms, attended two years of the same continuing education courses that estate planning attorneys take and began preparing estate plans and documents for my clients. A number of them would show my work to their attorney. Before I knew it, I was getting requests from attorneys to prepare documents for their clients.
I sold my consulting firm and focused all of my efforts on providing estate planning services to attorneys. Within two years I had six employees and was working with law firms all across the country. At that point I did an analysis of my business and found that most of my income was coming from just three clients. I also found that if I eliminated my staff and work directly with these three clients I could work less than 50 hours a month, from home, and increase my profits at the same time. Downsizing was an easy decision.
After reducing my workload, I wrote two books on estate planning and taught workshops for the business development division of my local community college. I've taught workshops on bookkeeping for small business, small business marketing, professional salesmanship, improving customer relations, time management, financing a small business, customer loyalty, social marketing, and estate planning.
After living in Arizona for 27 years I moved to Oregon. I still provide estate planning services to a limited number of attorneys, but my real passion is helping ambitious people find the success they want and deserve from their business.
I currently work with business owners and professionals helping them develop relationships that result in increased sales and referrals. My key focus is on Business Networking and Social Marketing both online and offline. In offer presentations and workshops on social marketing, relationship building, appreciation marketing, client recognition, effective follow-up and time management
I also provide an on demand greeting card and gift service that my clients use to follow up, recognize and appreciate their clients, associates, prospects and friends. I teach a simple system for using this service to pro-actively build and nurture relationships that result in increased sales and referrals.

Open minded, low maintenance people with an attitude of abundance and a desire to succeed in whatever it is that drives them. I gain great pride in being able to be a positive force that can help them stay on track to achieve their dreams.
