I am happy to join this group and can only hope this is mutual :-)
Allow me to introduce myself: I am the CEO of an Amsterdam NL based firm, Endeavour, and I do lecture on business issues occasionally.

Oh, yeah...For anyone that missed the message before, in addition to having a profile page at TED.com you can now have your own robust profile page at TEDTalks.ning.com where I have one already and so does Catherine. It's set-up much like our SpeakerSite pages are and allows for a richer social media experience which can be linked with the one you have here as well as at TED.com.

Hmmm. I was a member of this group and suddenly I was out. Of course, my comments are gone now, as is the case when someone leaves. Only a malfunction I hope.

As for current TED-like activities, I have an art and technology exhibit this Saturday in Columbus that features what I have done with technology in the service to art, which of course has its own entertainment value...

An hour would provide a lot of room for play.
