Last week I was interviewed by Paul on his The Wealthy Speaker Show. It was a great experience. Paul had prepared a custom set of interview questions that were tailored just for me. He was a very gracious host who was sincerely interested in helping me sound my best. I enjoyed the experience and thank him for this opportunity.

As the month of February draws to a close, be mindful that as professional speakers and event planners, our time is now. In other words, we can make a world of difference delivering programs to corporations and organizations downsizing and restructuring.

Contact your local employment office, career one centers and social services agencies and develop professional development programs for them. This will give you an opportunity to help people transitioning into new career fields, improving their skill sets and inspire and motivate them.

My nonprofit orgaization exhibited at a career fair yesterday and we received resumes from prospective employees and dsicovered numerous incentives that exist for employers that hire staff. I recommend you look into this in your local community because the tax benefits associated with employing people and developing programs to help people find work and or transition into a new career field is the new growth market.

Speakers and event planners, our time is NOW! Let's go out there and secure speaking, training and consulting opportuities, they're everywhere.
